The RoboMaxx event is designed to showcase robotics to our local community by providing a forum where robot designers and builders from all over the world can compete their creations in a fun and festive atmosphere. In addition to the competitions, RoboMaxx provides robotics demonstrations, robot building workshops for all ages and vendors from all over the world presenting their robotics related products.

The Southern Oregon Robotics Society hosted the first RoboMaxx event in 2002 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Central Point. RoboMaxx II and III were hosted the following years at the Josephine County Fairgrounds in Grants Pass. Since that time, RoboMaxx has been hosted each year, though on a smaller scale, by Southern Oregon University in Ashland. Next October, RoboMaxx will return to Medford as the biggest robotics event in the Southern Oregon! Check back often as we will be adding more information about this year's RoboMaxx in the near future.
