SORSA Meetings
SORSA meets on the second Saturday of every month at the Kid Time Discovery Experience, located at 226 North Ross Lane on the corner of West McAndrews and Ross Lane in West Medford. These meetings are FREE and open to anyone interested in learning about robotics or sharing their knowledge. Children under 15 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Meetings run from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. COME AND JOIN THE FUN!!!
If you plan on joining us, print out our New Member's Packet here. Fill out the Questionnaire and bring it to your first meeting. There is no charge to attend and participate in the meetings.
What can you expect at the meetings?
At every club meeting you will find people of all ages and experience levels working together on robotics projects and learning more about this exciting field. There are plenty of experienced members willing to help new roboticists get started. Though it is occasionally necessary to teach some techniques, we try to avoid the structure of a classroom. Instead, we prefer a workshop atmosphere where everyone works on their own projects, at their own pace while helping those around them. A popular part of every meeting is Show-and-Tell when members show off their projects, give updates on their status and share what they have learned in the process.
